Another project in Corstorphine, Edinburgh for customers who were recommended by one of my previous clients. The remit was for ease of access to the garden. By installing a deck at floor height to the patio doors the area was easily accessible rather than the step down at the patio door onto the previous patio. The composite deck was large enough to accommodate a large table for outdoor dining and socialising and space for plant pots and ornaments. The perimeter of the deck is bounded by a minimal balustrade so that the garden view is maintained and there are wide steps for easy access to the garden. A successful project for my elderly customers who had mobility issues that allowed them ease of access to the garden.
