Here’s a Hardwood Timber Deck that we built for a client in Edinburgh. The Deckboards are Indonesian Yellow Balau, FSC approved.

The clients wanted a space to entertain in the garden that could be easily accessed from the patio doors. The Deck has been installed at the same height to internal floor to give seamless access. The Deck is split levelled to give ease of access to the garden.

Uplighters were fitted to lower deck and L.E.D lights to upper deck and steps and Balustrade to upper level.

Decking

The deck shown here is a hardwood timber called yellow balau. This is an imported fsc certified timber from Indonesia. The balustrade is softwood and has been stained to a dark brown.
